Tri Tech Automation’s Commitment on Display at Rockwell Automation Fair 2025
Since our founding in 2015, Tri Tech Automation has operated based on the belief that the United States can once again be the most competitive manufacturing country in the world. There is no better place in the world to immerse ourselves in the technology that allows us to advance our work in control panel design and fabrication, digital transformation, and unlocking a manufacturer’s Hidden Factory® than the annual Rockwell Automation Fair.
The Tri Tech Automation team exhibited at the 2025 event and maximized our presence with special presentations and competition at the ROKathon. There was great camaraderie among the team on-site, and enthusiasm from our partners and customers who visited our booth. As we reflected on the experience, we recognized a few key highlights to share.
Thought Leadership to Advance the Industry
By design, Rockwell Automation Fair is structured to bring the best minds from the industry together with partners and distributors from around the world. The event featured a number of breakout sessions on data capture, digital transformation, and cybersecurity, among others. As one of only 11 Rockwell Automation Platinum Partners in the U.S., Tri Tech Automation had the opportunity to share our knowledge and thought leadership with attendees.
Integrated Design & Manufacturing for Systems Integrators with Eplan and Rockwell Automation
What if you could go to market with your automation solution up to 45% faster? That’s exactly what Tri Tech’s Adam Rubesam and Brandon Whalen demonstrated at this breakout session, presented alongside our partners at Eplan. Together, we highlighted the consistency, unmatched velocity, and superior quality customers experience through our integrated 3-D design and streamlined production process.
Tri Tech’s investment in the Eplan best-in-class design platform, which features real-time customer collaboration and digital twin capabilities to visualize control panels before they are fabricated, expedites the design process and results in greater accuracy. During our breakout session, we demonstrated the system to provide attendees with a look at the exceptional benefits of this technology.
Furthering our commitment to reduce time to market with greater accuracy, Adam and Brandon explained how Eplan’s paperless, seamless integration onto the fabrication floor allows for plans to feed directly into our advanced fabrication equipment. Along with our investment in Eplan, Tri Tech recently added the KOMAX wire processing center, as well as the Steinhauer panel modification machine. Both pieces of equipment expedite the process, allowing for parallel fabrication which shaves days off the traditional, linear fabrication model.
Process Automation System Deployment Session
Each year at Automation Fair, the Rockwell Process Automation Solutions User Group (PSUG) gathers to share non-proprietary ideas, trends and best practices using Rockwell Automation technologies. Tri Tech’s Steve McNamer participated as a panelist, sharing our experiences with Rockwell’s process solutions, and the advancements we’ve been able to achieve for our customers. Some highlights include:
- Leveraging AI to reduce inefficiencies in time consuming tasks that are often repetitive
- Using AI for system simulation and quality control
- Utilizing vendor provided tools to help with project quality and consistency
- Managing customer requests at different points of the project cycle
Digital Transformation Team at the ROKathon Competition
The first annual ROKathon competition was held at this year’s Automation Fair, and Tri Tech was one of just a handful of partners invited to this two-day marathon coding session to develop the best solution for a process automation challenge. Our Digital Transformation Team of Brad Downen, Daniel Bailey, Christian Bertram and Evan Spagnoletti showcased their talent in solving manufacturing problems with the Rockwell Suite and using FT DataMosaix with Atlas AI for Generative insights. The team also leveraged applications with FT LogixAI for easy implementation in fine tuning controls.
Brad, Daniel, Christian and Evan truly demonstrated our exceptional capabilities in supporting customers to unlock their hidden factories through data and automation.
Collaboration with Customers and Partners in the Tri Tech Booth
While members of the Tri Tech team have attended Automation Fair for many years, 2025 marked our first year participating as an exhibitor – and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Our Platinum Partnership with Rockwell shined as their team and network of distributors encouraged attendees to visit the booth. This is where we had great, collaborative conversations with customers and introduced attendees to our team and capabilities. We learned of challenges manufacturers are facing, their concerns in implementing new technology, and their visions for the future. In our booth, they had the opportunity to talk with our experts while experiencing demonstrations and learning strategies to help them overcome challenges and build a brighter future:
